A long list of children, with congenital heart problems, born to poor families, are waiting for a surgery. Help us to help them!

Here are some facts for you to consider.

- In India, there is no insurance or social security for all people, so only families in the upper classes can afford the cost of a heart operation. The Government does contribute for surgeries for the poor families, but what is granted is not enough to cover the costs.

- The cost of surgery is much lower here than in developed countries ( France, USA, for example).

- Our surgeon has an excellent reputation in India and internationally, and a good team to assist him.

- By helping with a donation for a child with a cardiac deficiency, you save a life! Sooner is always better!

- Our surgeon, Dr. K.R. Balakrishnan, says that if child mortality is brought down, population growth will also come under control. This may seem to be a paradox. But it is based on data: parents who are confident about the survival and health of their children plan for smaller families.
